Diversifying your super investment
By spreading your investment across a range of asset classes, you are diversifying your investment which helps you manage the level of risk you are exposed to.
This does not necessarily mean you will reduce your overall level of risk. It does mean that you are not risking your entire investment by investing it in one area, or asset class.
It is not recommended to invest in one asset class only, but if you are considering investing in one asset class only, take important note of the benefits of diversifying your investment in reducing your exposure to large losses.
